I recently completed a recording session with
Billy Bottle and The Multiple. This new album 'Unrecorded Beam' is going
to be excellent. Its the best recording session I have ever been on
and the closest I have ever got to getting that
'live, in the moment, performance vibe' captured. I think there is a
bit of me locked inside this record! (Like Mike TV perhaps :-) When
listening back to a track in the studio I was surprised to hear myself
sounding like a saxophone! - thanks to Billy's insight into the pieces
and the story behind them I literally thought I was delivering words and thoughts,
not toots and honks!
Anyway, thank you Billy Bottle and The Multiple,
Lee Fletcher and Josiah at Momentum Studios for making this creative
atmosphere happen. Here's to the finished album. I can't wait.

Thank you to everyone who came along to St Ives and the Barnfield Theatre for the first outing of my project WAVE. Your support is truly valued and appreciated. The Barnfield was a sell out so I am just over the moon. To quote our friend Marcus Vergette again, with out you it's just practice. Here's to more music making from WAVE.

I am setting off with a new music project for which I have written the toons :-)
As you know, it's a tricky business laying your musical heart out for all to hear but you have to try these things right?
I am delighted to be playing alongside Mike Outram and Jim Bashford. Awesome (in the true sense of the word) musicians. We like to share our sounds and in the words of bassist Marcus Vergette - with out you (dear audience) it's just practice!
New projects need someone to spot them and say Yes Please so if you are that someone who would like us to play at your gig, do get in touch.
: A collection of compositions...emotionally charged and dynamic...exploring the peaks and depths of our experiences.
Expect groove and freedom from soft and lyrical to explosive sounds.
